Spotted Newfoundland yesterday!, made it across the Chuck without incident. No other vessels, accompanied however by a gazillion stars. Feels odd to be running parallel it the Newfy coast without stopping. The last three summers landing and exploring the Newfoundland was the quest. Wonderful memories and stories from the years past as we sail end on through the night.
So… what else? Food. Here is a sampling:
We had a great dinner last night of a lamb stew that Larry made at home, with potatoes and carrots steamed with butter.
Celeriac Remoulade went on sandwiches of smoked ham, salami lettuce and leftovers.
There is a focaccia waiting to be cooked in the oven to go along with spaghetti and meatballs.
We have been chewing around where too pull in for the night and it looks like L’Anse au Loup/ Charlie called ahead to confirm they had diesel.
We were here last year… ok let’s share some pictures.
