Today we road in a taxi after I had us going the wrong direction to get a bus. We got on a bus, public transportation to go to the hanging lake and water fall. Miovagur was the drop off for the trail head. Pretty much the most touristy thing we have done.
But fun. Hoofed about 3 miles may 4 round trip, Up around the church, through a neighborhood, to a trail. Took us an out towards the sea.
People from all over, Denmark, Netherlands, Asia, America and so on were making this trek. The lake is long, as so many are here. One end you could see miles away up near the airport. The other, the one we headed to, appeared to end, but true to what we were told ended in dramatic fashion. A waterfall over the edge and into the sea. Think infinity pool on Planet Krypton.
We met a couple from Morocco/Denmark. On the way out learned from them about their world. Marianne is a social worker, Kaleb and electrician.
The scenery was astounding. A demonstration of the variety of physical geography this planet has.

A thread throughout the day was flights home. James had his already booked but we aren’t going to make the date, me I had to pick a date and book one. Charlie still on the wait.
We will get to Bergen maybe end of the week. Then its; do we sail some around Norway…? We have got to make arrangements with the boat yard that will store the boat for the winter and the long list of chores to prepare for that.
In the meantime I joined the Cetacean and Orcas of the Shetlands as there is some solid whale, dolphin activity around the southern end of the archipelago. We will spend a couple of days there and samples the whisky and maybe some music.
I had a dip in the lake on the way back and was thrilled to be dive bombed by Arctic Skuas. Something that happened on Orkney Islands some 40 years ago that I thoroughly enjoyed.
We will get in a nam here now and shove off around 1230 am. Off to yet another country.
